When he was 26 years old, he experienced dairy farming in Australia, which is based on the concept of ``livestock welfare,'' which values the independence of animals. After he returned to Japan, he built a barn where the cows could roam freely and used feed mixed with vegetable scraps. He mixes cow manure with cacao husks and other things that were going to be thrown away, ferments them, creates compost, and uses the compost to grow vegetables. Mr. Isonuma says he wants to continue to make the ranch a place for local interaction and learning. What kind of future does he envision?
